I met Shawn today on a site walk after a number of years building in the same industry. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for someone that cares about the quality and communication of thier project. There is a reason North Sound has been a long standing community driven business. I look forward to collaborating with Shawn in the future.

We had such a great experience working with North Sound Fence from start to finish. Denise was incredibly responsive and really took the time to understand our situation, which made the whole process feel easy and personalized. She communicated clearly throughout and made sure everything stayed on track.

The installation crew was just as impressive — they were professional, respectful of our property, and genuinely nice to work with. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and paid attention to the details, which really shows in the final result.

The fence itself looks amazing and completely transformed our backyard. The quality of the work is top-notch, and it feels sturdy and built to last. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Overall, we’re extremely happy with the outcome, feels safe to use our backyard with my kids now, and would absolutely recommend North Sound Fence to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality fencing work!

You will be glad you called!
After the last wind storm our old fence finally gave up. I called North Sound and the were there in 2 days for an estimate. We received a very reasonable quote and they started the next week. They even came out before the job started to put up a temp fence for our fur baby. Job was done in 3 days. They gave us excellent advice on ideas we had. Reliable.. Affordable.. Professional!

We lost part of our chain link fence when large tree limbs crushed it in a recent wind storm. North Sound responded quickly, made the repair efficienctly, communicated with us along the way, and all at a fair price. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Frankly, I could not have asked for better service!

North Sound Fence does an amazing job. We hired them over a year ago to put in a large fence around our property. We had a hog wire fence, a privacy fence, and stair railings put in. They did an amazing job. Recently a tree fell on our house and we had to have a section of the fence replaced. They gave us a fair price and came out same week to place it. Everyone we talked to was so nice and helpful. We were able to send a picture of the damaged panel and they responded right away and helped us. They also had the best pricing for the types of fences we wanted to install. They have fair pricing and great communication. We definitely recommend them to anyone needing a fence or fence repairs.

North Sound Fencing replaced our 18 year old cedar fence a few months ago. Sean and his crew did a great job. They were reliable, left a very clean job site at the end of each day, completed the project as promised. A few weeks later we noticed some of the boards needed replacing, Sean promptly responded and replaced the areas of concern. We are very pleased with our new fence and would have no concerns recommending North Sound Fencing

North Sound did our fence replacement back in 2019 at our old house. One of the posts ended up twisting (which can happen with wood), but they came out right away and fixed it. We were so happy with their work that we hired them again for our new house!

Sean and his crew are awesome — super professional, friendly, and really detail-oriented. The quality of their work is top notch. Highly recommend them if you need a fence done right!

I got several fence quotes and north sound fence was the most reasonable. I explained what our family needed and north sound fence worked with us to customize our quote! All of our expectations were met and beyond. It took only a few days and the team was quiet and respectful of our property. Shawn and Denise were my main contacts and they couldn’t have been more helpful. If I could give more stars I would!

We needed to replace our back fence and I found North Sound Fence online and called them up. Shawn came out a couple days later and I was really impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He gave me a bid that had several scenarios. I felt their price was very reasonable compared to some of the other bids I got from other companies. Later I had a few questions and called up the office and spoke to Denise. She was super friendly and helpful. She was also very knowledgeable but checked with Shawn on a few things she wasn’t sure about. After I told them what I wanted to do, they set up the dates to come do the project (just a couple weeks later). They came out on the day they told me. Shawn was there pretty much the whole time with his crew. All of them were very respectful and friendly. They took the old fence down in one day, hauled it off, and set the posts. A couple days later, after the concrete had hardened, they came out and finished. They were quick and did a great job. I had some really difficult spots near some large bushes and structures in the neighbor yard. They figured out how to get it done and cleaned up everything before they left. I would 100% recommend North Sound Fence.

North Sound Fence is the name you can trust. Their skilled team proved dedicated, exceptional, reliable service. We had a fence needing quite a bit of repair and remodeling. It's a huge pasture fence. We did our research and had several fence companies give us bids. We tipped our hat to North Sound Fence because they were on time as they scheduled, and assessed the job with professionalism and obvious skill. This was a difficult and challenging replacement and repair job that truly required a lot of knowledge, and these guys made it look easy with their professional skilled crew. They were always on time and worked through weather challenges and long dedicated days. Their office staff was always cheerful and showed genuine care. We have several more projects in the planning stages and there is only one choice for us to have do the work. We trust and appreciate North Sound Fence without needing any other bids. Thank you North Sound fence for your dedication and complete satisfaction.

Thank you for doing such an amazing job! The installers were exceptional, repeat EXCEPTIONAL! Right after the crew left I noticed a few of my neighbors admiring my beautiful new fence. It put a hug smile on my face. (: They did such a great job cleaning up afterwards, you can’t even tell that they were there.

I will recommend your company till the end of time. Job well done!!

Justin and his crew were great to work with. They showed up on time every day and got to work. Justin came up with a smart solution for our dog that liked to dig under the fence by using a concrete “mow strip” to deter that activity. We went with the pre-stained cedar and it looks great, so no having to stain it afterwards. Their prices were very reasonable and I’m very impressed with the quality of the work done. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommended… I contacted 14 companies to bid ~300’ of 6’ cedar fence (mod panel). 7 or 8 actually came out to provide an estimate. North Sound was very timely, they replied right away and Shawn was here a couple days later. Besides having the lowest bid, I could not find a negative review of this company. It was a no brainer. I couldn’t be more happy with their work! Go get other estimates until you tire, just make sure North Sound is one. You will not be disappointed!

Got over a dozen bids some companies never called back, prices were all over the place. We got a recommendation from someone we knew so with that and analyzing all the pros and cons of other companies we choose North Sound and couldn't be happier. They just completed a fence for part of our yard and we are having them back to do more next month. As the lyric from the Tina Turner song goes....They are simply the best better than all the rest.

They were excellent to work with. They were very responsive from our first call, to coming out to do the estimate, sending a bid in a timely manner, answering our follow-up questions, all the way through signing the contract and getting us on the schedule much faster than we anticipated, especially considering our yard has a weird configiration and needed some smaller than standard access gates that needed some "creativity" to make them work! The installation crew were efficient, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. When we ran into an unanticipated problem in the back yard with an unknown/unmarked drainage line they were great about being flexible/changing the placement of the fence on the fly to make something that would work with everybody. And they even rolled with the neighbor doing a small add on to the fence to make everything work out for everybody involved. Would definitely recommend them for your fencing needs.

North Sound Fence just completed about 200 linear feet of 6' Cedar fence (Mod-Panel, board on board) along our roadway frontage. We are beyond satisfied with every aspect of the work that they completed! We started by getting quotes from four different local fencing companies who had good user reviews. I wasn't planning to select a company on their bid price alone, I wanted to pick the company that seemed the most knowledgeable, had the ability to schedule our project without too much delay, and of course had a competitive price. In our case, North Sound was the best in all of those categories. Shawn came out and reviewed our site, took measurements, and discussed what we wanted. Then within 24 hours Denise emailed us a quote with several options that we discussed. Before hiring them, I ended up talking to both Denise and Shawn on the phone several times with questions, and they were always very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. In addition, they were the lowest bid, and they by far had the ability to schedule our project the soonest. One of the other companies had a bid ALMOST $5,000 (about 60%) higher than what North Sound quoted. That was the outlier though, and I think that company was so busy they didn't care about getting our business. The other quotes we received were all much more reasonable, but all the other companies told us it would be two months or more before they could start our project. North Sound said they could start our project in two weeks! So we hired them! Then, Denise got in touch saying that they could actually start our job a week early. So from the time we hired North Sound, it was literally less than a week (just enough time to get underground utility locates) until they started working. The first crew showed up and installed all of the posts within one day. Then a few days later, after the concrete cured, the finish crew came in and framed in the fence, installed the fence boards, and built two gates over the course of two days. The final product is flawless, and far exceeded our expectations. I am an Engineer in the heavy civil construction industry, and I was looking for problems and could not find any. Their work is beautiful. Great materials (lumber, hardware, etc) and excellent craftsmanship all around. They were also very courteous, showing up when they said they would, and spending about 20 minutes at the end of each day thoroughly cleaning up every scrap of construction debris, sweeping off our driveway where they were working, etc. They are just all around the kind of company that makes you feel like you made a wise and worthwhile decision in hiring them. I have hired other contractors in the past who are sloppy, disorganized, take forever, try to upsell, claim differing conditions cost more, etc etc. There was absolutely none of that from North Sound Fencing. This is just a great bunch of people running a very efficient and legitimate business operation, and providing a product that gave us the highest possible level of satisfaction. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't contact North Sound for your fencing project. Thank you so much to Shawn, Denise, Gary, and the rest of the awesome North Sound team!
